Used as a forward base, players can select which tunnel entrance is in use at one time and can switch between each entrance depending where the player wants troops to be based and what area of the map the battle switches to. Japanese Imperial 'Engineers' are able to construct 'tunnel entrances' across the map (must control the territory to build, not necessarily connected territory tho), troops are then able to regroup/ spawn from these forward posts. HQ can be upgraded with a Medic station which heals troops only a small amount (not fully) basic healing. No AA ability at HQ, but buildings are based underground which hides troops who have fallen back to HQ. HQ base is stationed underground w/ hidden MG bunkers on the surface(like the US faction, buildings for certain units already exists, but requires upgrades to open. Effective against light vehicles and light tanks. Cheap AT-guns, limited in effectiveness against medium/heavy tanks. Effective booby traps and anti personnel mines Most units have camouflage/ ambush ability Able to spawn from constructed 'tunnel entrances' (will be explained). Infantry/ fortifications and artillery based warfare, limited vehicles and tanks. Infantry can be trained quickly and can reach large numbers fast. Versatile infantry, but relatively weak. Strong early game, relatively weak late game. Just created this to see if it could be done and see everybodies feedback. This is my idea/ template for a japanese faction, some of the units/ weapons may be historically inaccurate and manpower/munitios costs etc are only a rough guideline. Ok so I was thinking,It would be pretty cool to add a Japanese faction to COH2 int he future perhaps?
